Re: anello
Hello Sander,
Hope you don't me writing in English.
I have an Anello bell. Came with my 1963 Gazelle, which I bought just weeks ago. I don't know if the bell is the bike's original, and as a matter of fact I find that hard to believe.
Anyway, I recently removed the bell from the Gazelle.
I am looking at it right now as I am answering you...
On the top of the bell (the part we all see) it says anello in hand-writing style.
Notice, there is not a capital (A), just the word (anello).
On the back, or fixing part, it clearly says MADE IN GERMANY.
It also has a very small circle symbol with the word REICH (capital letters) in it.
Before I bought my Gazelle I had never seen anything from Anello, and the word suggested something from Italy to me. Anello means Ring in italian I believe.
Hope this helps you in your research. I can post a picture of the bell if you wish.
Regards

Re: anello
DCR gaat nooit verloren....
Re: anello

Re: anello
This is correct and REICH was or is a manufacturer in Mellrichstadt(Germany)Bruno Loureiro schreef:Hello Sander,

Re: anello
As a matter of fact some bells(about 2000) were produced by Widek(Holland) but they were not authorized to do so and the bells disappeared somewhere maybe Gazelle.
