The hole for the screw should be made at an angle of 7 degrees, and should not be cylindrical, but conical. The hole is drilled with 3 drills to different depths, and finished with a dental bur.

For the Edison E10 thread, a lamp base was used. One more hole was drilled in the polyamide block for experiments.

The cooled bulb base is destroyed and removed piece by piece. The thread is finished and polished with a dental bur. Now the bulb screws in very well. The excess part of the holder is sawed off. All that remains is to polish the finished lamp holder with sandpaper so that it looks like exactly as the original one.

The bulb is screwed into the replica holder more tightly than into the original, and not all the wire strands fit. Several wire strands are in the thread, the rest are pressed against the base from below. The bulb lights up!
