Hi Malin,
If you want to find out more about R.S.Stokvis you can visit the dutch version of Wikipedia.
There you can find the story about when they started
and what the names are of the founder and his sons.
And how the company was sold and sold over and over again
until it disapeared.
I seems they were traiders (bicycles and more) instead of bicycle builders.
Best regards,
Maarten

Maarten,
Thank you, I've already looked up that page (Wikipedia) so I know a bit about the company. I'm still to find out more about the bicycle in itself though.
Thank you for the information though
Kind regards,
Malin

Hello all,
Just got na answer from Mr. Herbert Kuner where I´m told that the model most likely is a "Tourist" (A) from 1962. Still not sure if that's the final answer, but I thought I should let you people know as you´ve helped me. Grateful.
Kind regards,
Malin

This mr Herbert Kuner is the ultimate expert: if he tells you, you can rely on it.
From which country are you? Italy? Indonesia?

Hi,
Nop, Swedish, living in Portugal. And I bought the bike here in the countryside, that's quite intriguing to me as the former owner is already 60 years old and the bike belonged to his father, a portuguese farmer. I haven't got na idea how he got hold of the bike. It should have more common to find a Portuguese one, I guess.
Yes, I think you're right about mr Herbert Kunder, considering his site.
Kind regards,
Malin
