Need help for Gazelle bike

Hello everyone,
I would like to come to get help on this forum that has been recommended on a site in France because it seems that in the community there are real experts on Gazelle bikes.
I bought a used gazelle bike to my girlfriend that I would like to restore in order to offer her for her birthday.
The problem is that I do not know either the year of manufacture or the exact model. From the photos that I have seen on the internet I think it might be the popular toer model.
It may not be necessary to be aware of this information to change parts but say that it is more for the curiosity and history side that I would like these answers.
The bike is not stored at my home so I could bring you the serial number quickly.
So if someone has more specific information to give me I am a taker.
I apologize in advance for my English and also if my post is not in the right section.
If some are interested I could possibly reposte photos after the work.
Sincerely and thank you for your help.
Benyamin

It's ~'75 or later, as around that time the large rear reflector on the carrier became compulsory
It certainly looks like an export model, with a cheap plunger brake fitted to confirm to local laws specifying two brakes

Thank you for your reply.
Do you have an idea of the model ?
I managed to find a photo with the frame number.
I am not sure but it would be the number 420180
Here is the photo.

I think you missed a digit and it's an '94 as the number is on the carrier bracket

Hello,
Thank you for the document

, indeed with that it's easier to understand the years. I had consulted the Gazelle website, but all this information is available in its French version.
There must be another number on the frame but I can not read it with the photo but actually it looks good of the year 94.
Is there a similar document that explains the different models that have existed since the creation ?
Is it possible that it is a Toer Populair model ?
Regards,
Benyamin

i think , since it has a crank with cotterpins (spies), it is older than 1994. I dont know what year gazelle quit using cotterpins, but 1984 would be my guess for this bike. It is nice and original, but in the Netherlands where we have an abundancy of bicycles, this would for most poeple be seen as just another daily bike , and not necesserally a classic. It is nice to see one in that nice a condition so far from home. Greetings, Rein

Could be '84 with the Gazelle document slightly off, but I wouldn't exclude the possibilty of using up a bunch of left over parts on a small run of retro-bikes for export

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback and your help, it's nice
The previous owner told me that he bought the bike in 2002 in Amsterdam and that he was entirely of origin.
I had a doubt about the model because all the photos that I see on the internet I can not find populair toer cream version but still black and also because it does not have skirts.
If you say it is 1984 I am satisfied with my purchase because I find it in a great condition for a used bike.
I'll just do a good cleaning and change some parts: saddle, handles, tires, pedals, straps for the luggage rack ...
Have a nice week end.
Regards,
Benyamin
