sorry about the many questions, but I have started to clean up some of the nickel plated tubing, with a view to getting it replated. it is quite deeply pitted in places.
short of cutting and brazing new tubing up, how would I get it back to (almost) new condition?
any one had any experience with this?
thanks in advance, EMMA

Re: Another question.. about tubing and nickel plating.
well, we have a tradition here of NOT making bicycles almost like new.
If you want to nickle, you can bring it to a chrome/nickel firm or you can do it yourself.
But why renickle? You want a shiny and new bicyle?
Just take a pannenspons (wonder what google translate makes of that, but it's an kind of metal sponge which you use to clean black burned pans) and thorougly clean your Gazelle.
Wonder what it looks like then. Rusty, but old. And thats the way it should be!
